Is poker a game of luck or skill?

0 votes
When I'm winning I tend to think of Poker (Texas hold'em) as a game of skill and when I am losing, either due to a string of bad beats or bad plays, I tend to think of it more as a game in which one needs a lotta luck? Ya..I know about the odds, outs, but still feel like a bit of luck at the right time can go a long way towards winning and also making money in poker, especially in MTT tournaments both online and offline. What do you think? Show me some proof!

For some good reading and solid proof towards firmly establishing that Poker is indeed a game of skill, read this research paper written by Steven D. Levitt and Thomas J. Miles, titled "The Role of Skill Versus Luck in Poker: Evidence from the World Series of Poker
